Front Range Fenestration (FRF) is a team of craftsmen founded in 2016 by Zach Whitt that specializes in high performance window and door installations in the Front Range of Colorado. After working in the high-performance window and door sector for many years, Zach realized that the majority of the issues experienced in the field were due to improper installation methods, poor detailing, and speed at the expense of quality or cost. Zach founded FRF with the intention of making sure the quality of the workmanship honors the quality of the products being installed. FRF utilizes our diverse and extensive background to carry out window and door installations to the highest level possible.

Zach has a background in hydrology, woodworking, and construction, and demands a high level of precision for any project we are involved with. He has an extensive knowledge of different fenestration systems, hardware, and best practices, and has spent time on projects all over the world to gain experience and insight on how to build quality structures. He is a PHIUS certified passive house builder, and enjoys integrating building science into hands-on craftsmanship. He loves being outdoors, traveling, good food, and good people.
Austin Coffin
Lead Installer
Austin has a diverse background and the through line has always been a ceaseless curiosity with how things work and imagining how they could be better. Austin has been in high-end residential carpentry for 10+ years and installing large, high performance widows and doors for 5 years. Within building, he is passionate about improving efficiency and takes pride in being a part of the execution of beautiful structures. He lives in Denver with his wife and dog. He enjoys riding bikes, eating Neapolitan style pizza, making good coffee, and organizing his garage.
